Dear Millionaire Mentor (Pt 2)

Dear Millionaire Mentor,

You have walked over Tanjong Pagar GRC's residents without a fight (especially for your toto winner Dr Chia Shi Lu who 'tio behpio' without even putting up an ante) and now you are helping your 'bo beh chow' National Development Millionaire Mah and his team in Tampines GRC. [Link].

I guess you are fearful that the demise of NSP's David, Goh Meng Seng's brother, who died of heart attack while helping the NSP's team in Tampines may win sympathy votes for NSP. Your presence at Tampines do not come as a surprise and we expect you to be Aljunied GRC soon to provide support fire to the Millionaire of Foreign Affairs.

Dear George has the "gloss and panache" to look good on TV but I'm sure you'll do your best to add on his credibility and scare the shit out of Aljunied GRC's voters by saying, "Oh, look at the awesome track records of George Yeo. He is our Foreign Minister. How can we lose him? He even understood and had good words for the deplorable behaviour of his actor friend Jack Neo when Jack was messing with his female employee. You want to lose a guy like that?"

Well, for the future of my children and my grandchildren, George and his team must be voted out for they are getting soft and did not deliver what they promised in 2006. To date, they just cannot match the sincerity and the fortitude shown by Low Thia Kiang, Sylvia Lim, Chen Show Mao, Pritam Singh and Muhamad Faizal bin Abdul Manap. It's time for the hubris and overlording of the PAP millionaires to be humbled!

It's a crying shame that you have to defend and explain the weaknesses of your candidates who can't speak like a lady or gentleman in public. Hey, I thought you so often said that PAP has only the best of the best! Isn't that the reason why they are paid the best in millions of dollars? So that my 'daft' mother, my 'complacent' wife, my 'spurs got stuck on their backs' daughters and granddaughters do not have to work as maids in other countries? Now you tell us that it's alright if your crony mintsters and MPs lack the 'gloss and panache' when appearing on TV? Hey, we are not complaining, we just switch off the TV when our skin crawls with the sight of your ex-Chief of Army and MP Wannabe Chan Chun Sing. He really hurts his audience with his oratory skills and 'howlian' body language. What happens to guys with "gloss and panache" like Winston Choo?

Sir (in respect of your age, not your deeds), you are sinking into a quaqmire when you keep harping of the track records of political candidates. For heaven's sake, there's just no political track record of newbies, PAP's or opposition's. Apart from Chiam See Tong , Low Thia Kiang and Sylvia Lim of the opposition, what freaking track record of politicians are you talking about? Sir, are Singaporeans daft or are you?

I know you are hurting bad with the progress of PAP so far due to:
  • MCYS Millionaire's hurtful insinuation of paedophile and gayness of SDP's member
  • Millionaire of National Development running out of excuses for the unaffordable HDB flats for Singaporeans
  • Transport Millionaire's inability to explain the high transportation costs and the over-crowded roads, trains and buses.
  • Tan Jee Say's revelation of Cabinet meetings of Millionaires (ministers) drinking coffee while listening to the dialogue of the Father and the Son or monologue of One. (Oh please, don't do a Tang Liang Hong on him like charging him with Official Secrets Act or whatever that's convenient to shut him up.) [Link]
Just look at this painful [Link] and howlian face [Link] Compared with this enlightening [Link], you'd realised that Time, they are a'changing. For the better. Not for PAP but for SINGAPORE. With your tea invitation and your many rounds of fine-tooth comb scrutiny, how did this dude and Steve Tan make it?

I light the candle above for the sad demise of Mr David Goh. "He led the entire machinery of our campaign in Tampines GRC”, says Mr Goh Meng Seng. “The stress of the campaign trail killed him. But I don’t want the demise of my brother to side-track NSP from our mission in this GE. My brother’s last wish was also that the fight should go on”, he adds. [Link]

I also like this candle below for the demise of FEAR of Singaporeans of you and your PAP!
In the words of Nicole Seah, "We are not scared anymore and we will not be afraid! [Link]

To everything, turn, turn, turn
There is a season, turn, turn, turn
A time to live, a time to die
And a time to every purpose under heaven.

Majulah Singapura!

Does not the younger PAP MPs not feel shameful, bringing out the old man to fight their battles?

I thought they were proudly touted to be people who have proven themselves worthy of the job?

Do they have backbones? Shame on them compared to a lady, who has more guts and courage to fight her own battle at a young age.

Are voters being short-changed by the PAP under cover of the GRCs?

Are the recent spate of slip-ups and being caught by surprise on many issues the result of less than capable MPs being shooed in via the back door?

The ogre said that George Yeo is capable of fighting his own battle in Aljunied GRC. Let us see.

at this stage of the game, i hope the old fart makes more comments to intimidate voters to support George Yeo and the rest of the PAP stooges.

it is shere stupidity or madness on the part of the old fart, not sensing the anger on the ground, not sensing there is much hatred.

my wish for spore is double happiness on 7 May 2011

Goh Meng Seng has sacrificed a lot in his political battle. He sold his home to support his party, now his brother is gone because of the stress trying to give the people choice to vote. I hope at least both Tampines and Marine Parade GRC residents understand the sacrifice many of our unsung heros have to put up for the people. Please vote for NSP and let them prove to the people in the next 5 instead of giving your sacred votes to PAP who failed to deliver in the last 5 years. This is a watershed election, if we don't vote for change now, don't expect there will be similar opportunity again in your next generations and beyond. I want to give my vote to the opposition to run the parliament in the coming 5 years and they may just proved to be more capable than PAP NEW FACES and keep PAP awake of our woes. The advantages and benefits of having opposition in parliament is too great to ignor.

I will vote the opposition for the following reasons:

A) the incumbent's claims of past records is not my criteria

B) the opposition parties offer me hope

C) I want transparency.

D) The opposition must not lose this opportunity to do what it claims to do.

Likewise, if they fail, I will revert to the PAP.

"Likewise, if they fail, I will revert to the PAP"

Rational thinking. If we do not give the Opposition a chance to prove themselves, how do we know that they cannot deliver? We have bought into this argument too easily and given too much credit to the PAP that only they can deliver. This thinking ought to change.

Don't buy into the PAP argument when they asked what has the Opposition done. Do the PAP give them a chance or allow them, other than walkabouts, to do anything else in PAP wards?

Chiam See Tong, who is the elected MP for Potong Pasir was not even allowed to plant a shrub in front of his office. As Opposition candiates working the ground in PAP wards, do you think the PAP would allow the Opposition to carry out projects in their wards?

It is time to change. And it is time to make some sacrifice to make the future less intolerable.

Hi Anon 3:52;

You are right in saying that Goh Meng Seng, Secretary General of NSP, and his brother David Goh have sacrificed much.
Me can attests to that; When Goh Meng Seng and his team did their walkabouts in Tampines, it can be seen that Goh Meng Seng is a very frank and candid person.

Due to his team's frequent visits and one of his GRC Team Candidate Gilbert Goh, a Cyber Acquaintance later turned friend, me decided to participate in some of their election activities. And this is when me realizes the extent of the sacrifices Alternative Party Members have to make, especially preparing for the Election.

Goh Meng Seng, his Elder Brother David Goh and supporters were/are kept on their feet from early morning to past midnight. With our humid weather and apathetic countrymen, all these Alternative Party Members have much to endure and sacrifice.

The Late David Goh fell ill whilst doing his most for the Coming Election and succumbed. It was a great personal sacrifice and his family suffer a lost that is almost impossible to recover.

The Alternative Parties deserve supports from the voters, they have worked their hearts out for us, the People. Be it Aljunied GRC, Tampines GRC and elsewhere, let us appreciate the sacrifices our fellow countrymen had and are making to better our wellbeing.

Senile Minister is again talking nonsense about a 'politically balanced picture' with an Indian President, a Chinese PM and a Malay Speaker of Parliament.

He was talking about the WP upsetting the picture by voting out the next Speaker, who is a Malay PAP candidate in Aljunied GRC.

Why must that be? During the late President's tenure in office between 1993 and 1999, the Speaker of Parliament was Tan Soo Khoon, also a Chinese. Did we see a distorted picture?

The PAP is now so desperate it is coming out with all kinds of rubbish to confuse and distract voters.

I am really sick and tired of their childish behavior and senseless pot shots.

As far as I am concerned even if the opposition party fileds a tree I will vote for the tree.

PAP does not even deserve the vote of the dead.

GO OPPOSITION!

Likewise, even if the opposition field lizards and cockroaches, I will still vote for them.

The PAP is too, too much. How good or credible is a political party that resort to threats, practice pork barrel politics and punish voters who failed to give them support? Only the naive and daft will not see the big picture and still swallow the PAP propganda vomit.
