3 Days To "Say No to 6.9M" - Why PAP Ministers and MPs are Perpetually at Street Corners?

I just come to understand the term 'Publicity Whores" and I think PAP makes the worst kind!
The ubiquitous banners with faces of MPs and Ministers in every PAP constituency in Singapore is pretty telling. They are there at every celebration - Banners wishing you 'Selamat Hari Raya", "Merry Christmas", Happy Deepavali", Gong Xi Fa Cai" and everything else.  Why do PAP have to cheapen themselves for publicity?

I do not see the faces of WP MPs in banners in Alunied, Hougang or Punggol East at their street corners. Residents there are blessed that they don't have such publicity whores staring at them.
Is it due to the fact that WP MPs walk the ground more often and their residents know who they are. Hence, there is no need to advertise themselves at street corners?

Maybe PAP MPs should get out of their ivory towers and get to know their residents too instead of outsourcing their jobs to the CCCs and RCs.

Why such monstrosity at their street corner at every festive occasion?
Every street and corner
You will see their faces
Make you very nauseous
These useless selfish leeches
How they A.I.M. we cannot see
Screwed we are by PAP

To endorse the White Paper to import foreigners to increase Singapore's population to 6 million in 2020 and 6.9 million in 2030 is to screw up the lives of my children and my grandchildren.
I feel strongly that if I let them ride roughshod over me now without a whimper, I would have failed in protecting the interests of my children and my grandchildren.
Please help me and join me in telling the PAP that
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

But if someone is willing, please put up a banner that says "FULL IS FULL".

There with everyone in spirits!

The PAP Parliamentarians have got their sycophants and grassroots ball carriers to do the whoring for them. They are like pimps that solicit on behalf of the whores.
And then, there are the pimps in the State Medias also known as MSM or Maib Media
If your neighbours, relatives and colleagues active in grassroot organizations, keep a distance from them

The MSM folks are the worst sycophants, just watch May Wong of CNA and Xue Shu Hui of Ch 8.
The whole lot at CNA are super sycophants and so are those in SPH.

I stay in LKY ward. When he was the PM/MM and now just a MP, we see him once in a blue moon just to open ceremony in tree planting and CNY dinners & etc.

All his so called meet the people's sessions are undertook by another MP in the GRC constituency.

All these Papies Ministers and MPs had so many Directorships & other titles to their names, where git time to serve the people and constituents.

Even now I hardly see existing MPs in my constituency walking the grounds.

After every elections they take you for granted.
Even you can see in any Parliamentary meetings which are held only every three months or more, more than three quarters went AWOL. How can they represents their voters and constituents interests when they themselves even do not attend these proceedings??

Only when our Great Leader is present, then you will see full attendance. At one time LKY exhorted us with his famous quotation: AN HONEST DAY WORK FOR AN HONEST DAY WAGE. Now even his MPs do not follow his saying. He must put his SPURS on their hides instead of us.

Give me an opposition MP anytime where he/she will serve me better.

Three more days to the Hong Lim Ralyy and am looking forward to it.

1. I'd like to know who is the supplier of all these posters.

2) Where does the money come from for all these posters?

3)Is any $2 company involved?

Maybe you saw that term "publicity whore" at Singapore Notes?

I think they are doing all those posters in the mistaken belief that constant exposure (not the Michael Palmer kind) will ensure that the constituents and voters will be familiar with the faces and vote for them. However, they forget that in the case of the PAP, familiarity breeds contempt. I saw a defaced one in the East Coast GRC in the last GE.

I think the more they put up those faces, the more they are going to turn people off.

I would like to ask your consent to interview you. We can either conduct that face to face or over emails.

If you would like to accommodate me, I will send you a letter from NUS informing you of my validity and my research.

I am hopeful that you will be able to support me in this research.

Thank you

forgot to add...we wrote in few times about too many cats at the block and they shit at our corridors and door steps often, so far we only got responses like "we are working with SPCA" but till this day (no kidding today even!), there is still shit outside at the corridor and as many cats that we see. What is the point of having their faces on the pages when simple request as such is not handled?

" What is the point of having their faces on the pages when simple request as such is not handled? "

To them, exposing their faces is a great sacrifice. Only doing so because they have been asked to serve.

Cleaning up cat shit.
Not their job.
Cleaning MBT's HDB shit.
Also not their job.

Collecting their salary and "performance" bonus.
Kee Chiu!

How many of these giantic plastic banner are thrown away every year?

If 80 constituencies each has 10 banners X 5 occasions (modest estimate only ) = 4000 enormous plastic banners discarded.

P.A is doing a bad thing for our environment if these are not recycled not to mention the costs !
